Porta Cable Buffer

Does anyone use the Porta Cable 7424 buffer? If so, how does it do? Does it leave swirl marks?

Looking to buy one but have always heard orbital buffers leave swirl marks. The Porta Cable seems to be the one to use but I would like to hear from some real users of this product.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking around and found that Coastal Tools with a good price. I think I will buy this and give it a try.

1. Is the Porter Cable just for polish?
2. Does it work well with wax?
3. Is there any special wax/polish that you have to use or any favorite wax/polish work?

You can use any polish and waxes you wish. Just remember the orange pad is for more intense polishing, then the white is a little less agressive, then the gray.
I use the gray pad to apply waxes of all types. Just be sure to wash it out good before changing products. It's a "fun Machine" to use. You cant hurt the paint with it. BUT it will give better results than you can achive by hand.
