Polish over wax

So here's my situation. I've got a coat of the Klasse all in one paint cleaner-polish with 3 coats of the Klasse Polish and 2 Coats of meguiars caranuba (sp) wax.

Would it be bad for me to put another coat of the polish over the top of the wax? Or do I have to strip everything back down with my paint cleaner and start over. When I first got the car I used the meguiar's 3 step system (substituted gold class paste wax) and later used the Klasse Polish.

Is this bad to overlay polish ontop of wax? The polish is an acrylic polish, if that makes a difference.

Sorry, but if you polish you will be removing everytrhing. But when your done it will look great again!!
I love the Klasse Twins. I just ordered Einszette Metallic polish. So I to will be removing my AIOx2 SGx3 S100X2. So I know how you feel.

I just wanted to know if it would work. Sometimes I get bored walk out to the car look at it and say to myself "i fel like putting some wax on" put the polish made a really good difference and the wax only got rid of some swirl marks and added a little depth.

I should probably just start over with it anyways.

ok, your on the right track kevin

the Klasse Twins are great ... but you gotta remember that the AIO isn't necessarily a conventional polish. It has a lot more to do with chemical cleaners than abrasives. I'm not sure what other klasse "polish" you are talking about. The order should go Klasse All in One, followed by Klasse Sealant Glaze. Think of the sealant glaze as AIO without the cleaning abilities.

If you apply AIO over everything you have ... it will clean off the carnauba for sure ... and will make a big dent in removing any SG (sealant glaze) that you have on there.

a) there's nothing wrong with adding klasse on top of itself

if you put AIO on top of AIO ... it will just "clean" the older layer off and leave a fresh finish.

if you put SG on top of SG ... it will add depth and shine

if you wanna add more layers ... add more Sealant Glaze ... AIO will just remove the old layers ...

i'd go ahead and AIO again ... it will remove a lot of the old stuff ... maybe not bare paint, but close enough to start again. After AIO, go with the Sealant Glaze then top with carnauba if you choose ...

and if you get that urge to "add something" after you wash or whatever ... go ahead and add another layer of carnauba whenever you please, but keep in mind that Gold Class IS a CLEANER WAX ... and the solvents in it will remove the sealant under it ... so go for a pure wax like S100 (harley store) or Mother's pure carnauba..

If you're bored, try some "Solar Polish". Remove everything from the paint then put on 1 coat of SP. Depth and a Mirror finish. Smooth as silk.

Want more? add a couple of more coats. Probably won't have to though.

im not sure what the other ppl said but u cant put klassa over the wax. Im pretty sure if you do that the polish would strip teh wax of. If u want the wax of then go ahead and use the klasse
