painted up scatches

a while ago my mom tried to cover up some scratches...she bought car pant and just used a brush!! It stands out sooo much, and when i polish the car its gonna really look bad. How do i get rid of this freakin pant?? After i get the paint off the polish should get rid of most of the scatches.

Someone graffitied my car once. A painter friend of mine used turpentine to remove the paint. This worked because the paint was fresh and still soft.

The products "goof-off" and "goo-gone" might work.

the paint has been on for a couple of years tho

You may need to go to a detailer to have the old paint mechanically buffed off.

Try the "goof-off". It may soften the paint enough for you to rub it out by hand. I like the No. 7 White polishing compound.
