does anyone know what they roughly charge for a full paint job nowadays..same color as car not different'

Yea a good paint job will run anywhere from 2500-3000 sometimes more. 300-600 would be the price if they were doing it with a can of Krylon.

My schools vo-tech will paint cars for the cost of paint (usually around 500-600 bucks for factory stuff)...they do a pretty damn good job.
