If i take the 328is off the back of my '98 will it be a different color than the rest of the car because of oxidation? and if so, how can i make it match the rest of the car?

It might be, but I doubt it will be noticeable. Couple things:

1) what color is the car? If it does oxidize it will more noticeable on darker colors. If you are white or silver I would say don't worry.

2) if it is off-color then you could probably use a clay bar, or some buffing compound, to get the colors to match a little closer.

thanks a lot, should i use dental floss to get the 328is off?

Yeah, that should work with no problems. If you can try to heat up the area with a blow dryer. That will heat up the glue and make it much easier to remove. If not then work slowly and try not to hurt yourself.
