Well, I bought my 318is yesterday, and hit Murray's looking for a good polish. Let me tell you, if you ever want your precious to look like a mirror, smooth as glass, I can't speak highly enough of Meguiar's 3-step polish. One step to deoxidize, one to finely polish, and a final carnauba wax. My 318 shines like a new penny.

20 bucks and about 4 hours, and it is sweeeet.

Try thier medallion stuff, for the pros... i've wanted to try it for aeons.

As an aside, try Mother's "Back to Black" on the vinyl and window trim- bought mine to midnighty goodness in about 5 minutes per side.

Yeah and then it will come off when you wash the car.

Yeah, it'll wash off, but it only took about ten minutes, and looks great!
