I thought I had heard there was an interior spray or deodorizer that was made to smell like the new car smell. Does anyone know if such a spray or deodorizer exists and if so where i can get it?

My car is a 1999 but looks new except for the smell.

Theres several makers of car fresheners. You can usually find "New car smell" anywhere car scent items are sold......

No!!!! Those are the nastiest things...do you really want your car to smell like "chocolate love" or "oriental spice" or "vanilla pudding" or "jasmin sprinkles...."
The BEST WAY TO GET THE NEW CAR SMELL: clean your interior with the stuff the dealer's use....and it will leave a proper soapy fresh scent that the new BMWs have!!!!

The main rule here is: don't cover up odors with flowery or carwash brand perfume scents, but wipe, brush, and polish every surface in the car with a cleaner that leaves a fresh genuine smell!!!!

What also would work is to fill a spray bottle with about an ounce of liquid Woolite and then fill the rest of the bottle with water. It can be used for putting a nice matte finish on your interior and it also makes your car smell nice. Spay a couple of sprays by the ac vents by your feet and it will work for a while.

oooooooohhhhh man.....it is such a pain in the ass....it is "supposed" to be changed every 10K miles...but most people's have never been changed unless they did it themselves, or paid for a full inspection II at BMW...and even then I wouldn't be surprised if they skipped it...

It is on the passenger side of the car....underneath the center dash...nevermind...here is a DIY....
