Well, I recently bought some meguiar's car washing product. I usually buy either turtle wax or black magic. But The store was out of them so I bought some Meguiar's. And I have to say, It leaves your car so nice, it's like you just waxed it, the water just drips away, therefore reducing any water spots. And in addition to that I use Mr clean's filtering thingy, and on top of all that I dry my car off with a microfiber cloth, and clean the window's with a special glass cloth from Black Magic. And at the end, I gloss the tires with some wet N black from Turtle wax, and gloss the trims and vinyl with some armor all ulra shine.

SO in summary here is what I think are the best products for a car wash...

Meguiar's soap
Mr clean spotless filter
Armor all for trims and vinyl
ANY microfilter cloth to dry
Black magic cloth for windows
Turtle wax for glossing tires & chrome care
For rims I use something professional from my dad, I dunno what it's called.

I have used many, many products, and this are the one sI had the best result with, I use also some other stuff to wax the rims, wax the car and all, but I forgot their name....
