I just installed my mattchrome a few weeks ago, and right off the bat it was covered in dark fingerprints and streaks. I was thinking of taking it all off and treating it like the outside of my car - wash and a few coats of wax. Any ideas?

i would like to upgrade my sound system. and im really feeling that panel with te cutout,.
oh, i have that mattchrome. its not hard to clean. i used a sliiiiighty wet cotton shirt.
the matte chrome looks good.
As far as keeping the fingerprints, etc from showing up, I just wipe down my interior/exterior 6-7 days a week with a clean cloth and a small spray bottle that I keep handy at all times.
No other way around that. I do the same with my rims for the brake dust.
You might try waxing it. I've read that some guys wax their rims and the dust comes off much easier.
