Liquid Wax vs "solid" (paste) wax

What are the pro's and cons of both? Is there a clear choice? I've been using mostly the solid type and am wondering if there is anything better out there.

I don't remember any posts on solid vs. liquid.

I use a liquid synthetic acrylic polish (it's not really a "wax") that came with my new ride. I've also used the "Nu Finish" synthetic and Blue Coral products with good results on other cars.

The paste products seem to be more work to apply but the results are what you're after.

paste is def. better, it just takes more time to get it on and off

There isn't much difference between the two, liquid is more convienient so might as well use that.

I've used paste on everything, i've never done liquid, so thats why i asked, if there are no real reasons to switch, i think i will continue on with the paste.

yep, results similar, only difference between paste & liquid is ease of application.

paste only shines better because you worked harder to do it.
