Leatherette / Leather Conditioner-cleaner

There are lots of threads in this forum when I search but none really answer the question fully... hopefully someone will help...

I have black leatherette...

-I know it is a high grade vinyl
-I know you can just wash it with soap and water (treat like plastic etc)
-I know people like vinylex or something like that..

What I want to know is can I put Meguiars Leather condition and cleaner on it? and if anyone else has done so?

Yes you can... there are better products out there (1Z einszett-leather conditioner) Superior Detail Suppliesbut you can use meguiers.

you can but why waste your money on hi-end leather conditioning products when you can buy less expensive products more suited towards leatherette material.........
