Soon i'm going to color match trim around the bumpers. My car used to be Alpine white until the previous owner got it repainted, and i'm pretty sure it's not Alpine anymore, just generic white. How close are the colors? If I paint the trim Alpine white, do you think it will be noticeable because I was just going to order a spray can of Alpine from paintscratch.

the best thing you can do is go to a auto store and carry out all the white paints and see which matches best.

I used an aersol duplico color paint for the XM, and followed it with a clear. This was the result. Not too bad of a mismatch. They let me compare pretty easily enough. I could've stashed a few cans and they would not have noticed.
Good luck
