Hard water and Swirl Marks

I think I have hard water stains on my sunroof glass and chrome trim.

They look like little water spots but they do not come off. Also on the chrome trim it looks a little hazy and I tried some chrome polish and no dice.

Any way to get rid of the marks?

also I hae swirl marks in the paint of the car and I am not sure how to get rid of them.

any suggestions? Something that I can get at autozone, advance or pepboys would be great.

Try Gel-gloss from Home Depot)or similar store) for the glass and chrome trim. If the small spots are pits, then you have a different problem.

They could be normal water spots that were waxed on. that is to say dirt on teh car before it was waxed, thus sealing the dirt in.

Regarless of where the spots are comming from, anyone who has a Muppet avatar, especially an obscure Muppet, is okay in my book anyday!
