I have a steam cleaner that I want to use on my headliner and carpets. Want to make sure this is a safe practice before I do it.

I'd be a little worried about breaking the glue bond between the liner material and the shell material......try it carefully first, as you now steam is great at getting wallpaper off!!!!!!!

Best regards David

I just used Turlte wax carpet and upholstery cleaner and it look brand new now. just spay it on and scrub! If you have a moon roof....make sure you open the roof so you can get the area of liner that is hidden when it is closed. When you spay it on, scrub it until the foam disappears. It worked like a charm! I would be careful about the staem cause like the other peeps said...it might loosen the liner.

steam cleaning might release the glue, and if you decide to scrub it do it in only one direction b/c it will smear the dirt if you go back and forth
