I just found an easy way to get loose and clean the engine areas that are heavily soiled and wont easily get clean... Oven cleaner.

Anyone else try this? It works pretty good.

I imagine any tough grease cutting product would be able to tank your motor's gunk.

Since most oven cleaners are sprays you really need to cover your plastic/vinyl/rubber parts if you're going to use it.
