damaged paint

I had my car in the shop for a week and now some crud had set into the paint. It looks like hard water marks but after washing, polishing, and even some dawn and clay bar it's still seen in direct light. Is there anything else I can try, or am I resigned to a eaten clearcoat and have to send it to a auto body shop? Thanks.

What color is your car?
Ask the body shop what happened. Your ride didn't go in that way.

You might try Gel-gloss from Home Depot. Use a damp cloth to apply it.
Then try No.7 white polishing compoind.

paint cleaner, and have your body shop pay for a detailing shop to completley buff your car.
