| yes there is a special way to wash a top. In a bind, you can use tha car wash, but be careful not to get too close, you'll blast the protectant off and it will rain in your car( that cost me a top, so i thought i should say something). when you have time, a mild detergent ( i use dawn dish soap), warm water and a peice of terry cloth are the best ways.
