Cleaned leather

Just got dont cleaning my disgusting ass leather with a cleaner that sez "do not use on leather" So i dont recommend this cus I dont wanna be blamed for someone fuckin up their leather. My leather was extremely dirty though so i was desperate... In the first pic you can see the spot where i scrubbed a bit

Post-cleaning... Thought this turned out really well... No more greasey looking streak and no more black shmoots on the edge

I used a combination of 1part water to 1 part greased lightning solution. This is a POWERFUL cleaner, dont fuck with it. Even after a 50/50 combination and very LIGHT scrubbing with a brush it still removed some dye. Dont use this if you arent desperate. I used this after other leather cleaners wouldnt do the trick. And dont use this is you arent quick, if you let it sit on the leather im sure it would f' up your dye pretty good. If you MUST do this follow up with a leather cleaner and conditioner also to remove and oils or shit.

My theory is the previous owner was a pig. I have no idea what that grease streak was, im just happy i got it off....

I garuntee that the previous owner never had his car detailed, the interior is unexcusable.

Another unorthodox method of cleaning is to use a very water diluted "Soft-Scrub" with a wet paper towel or wet soft cloth.

I've used this on many different types of materials: plastic, chrome, silver, appliance finish, mini-blinds, tile-basically anything that's stained and other products don't work.

Try it in an inconspicuous place first and don't rub very hard, it will leave remove paint and for other materials and especially on plastic it may leave an opaque area.

This greased lightning shit that i have will clean anything... unfortunatly it's very harsh and powerful, i wouldnt be suprised if it would strip a clearcoat if it was left sit on your paint...

I had my ride treated with the overpriced PermaPlate products: Paint Guard, Fiber Guard and Leather Guard. The leather guard is supposed to prevent stains from setting in.

I'm such a neat freak anyway, nothing gets left on my car (in and out) for any length of time anyway.

We'll see what happens.

Yeah, I use Lexol also, in addition to cleaning and conditioning the leather, it all brings back the nice leather smell.
