how would i get rid of bird poop and tree sap thats been on the car for like a week or two... my brother never washes the car, he rarely drives it cause he takes the bus and train to work... so i've been washing it like once a week, but the bird poop and tree sap is still on there even though i wash it, what can i use to get them off without damaging the paint? its only the hood and trunk...
Simple washing with a good car wash soap should be good.
You may have to do it twice. I wouldn't recommend any solvents at all for bird droppings and tree sap.

adhesive remover can dull the surface, polishing over bird sh!t can scratch the paint if it's not COMPLETELY removed and washing the car often does nothing at all for crap and sap.

i would pretreat the stain with quick detail to soften the poop or dead bugs let it sit for a while and slow wipe off. Then if you have time wash the car, and wax over th epoop.
I've seen this a coule times. If the stuff sits there awhile....it become ATOMIC. It won't come off...it ruines the hood, and you need a new paint job.
P21S makes a paint cleanser that works like a charm. I've had old bird stains where the acid set in and wouldn't leave after washing and a clay bar. Applied this stuff, rubbed it, rinsed it off then re-waxed immediately. Stain be gone.
Bird shit comes off if you just rub the area with your mitt/sponge. Tree sap sucks. the best think ive found is to very gently use my nail, then use a lil bug & tar remover w/ a rag. then spot wax the area. however i could do this because i recently waxed it.
