I actually saw someone on the road the other day where their wheel fell off....I didn't see it happen but it was a pretty funny sight to see this tacoma sitting in the middle of the road sitting on a rotor....
in all fairness if you arent carefull its really easy to do this...for those who have done autox and run a second set of wheels and strip out their car on the day of the autox it gets hectic fast...now i have NEVER done this, but i can toootally see how it could....

Oddly enough, I saw a Subaru Legacy this morning that lost it's front, drivers side wheel. There was a nice big gouge in the road where she was coming out of the parking lot. The ironic part of it all...she was pulling out of the parking lot of a parts store!

Oddly enough, I saw a Subaru Legacy this morning that lost it's front, drivers side wheel. There was a nice big gouge in the road where she was coming out of the parking lot. The ironic part of it all...she was pulling out of the parking lot of a parts store!
maybe she was there buying lugs for the wheel and she decided to put them on when she got home...
Funny thing is, I didn't see her wheel anywhere....hmmm...
