bahh...saw this awhile ago. that dumbass shouldn't have even been crossing the street at that time, it was a red for pedestrians. still sucks he got run over, but he actually didnt die.
You're caling the pedestrian a dumbass?? Actually, sure, he is, but how could one ever focus on that, over the complete head-in-the-ass qualities the PT Cruiser driver posessed. If anything, the pedestrian was retarded for putting himself in that risk, which -- to a relatively negligible degree -- also puts others at risk; but the driver... the driver is complete scum for driving (if you can call it that) such a violent weapon (guess what, that's what a car is) so carelessly. And, as a note, the light didn't just turn red and she thought she could make it (not like that's much better). No, the light had been red for twenty-eight freaking seconds!
These incidents just piss me off, since the very nature of them leads to the real assholes living near-full, carefree lives (the lady driver, naturally survived with minor damages) and all else laying dead or close enough (the victim was pronounced dead on the scene but was later revived).

I was thinking on this last night. Who here thinks the guy crossing the street would have been hit by the SUV had the dumb ass in the PT not come along?
Now if THAT had happened, we would have seen the walker get KILLED. That SUV wasn't exactly going slowly through that intersection.
