Actually those DM4s arent that fast. They shoot about a good 17-19 balls per second. Now a real fast gun is a AKA Viking. Thats a fast gun. Even though no hopper (holds the paint) can feed this fast, the gun can shoot 44 shots per second. And the DM4 is $1500 and the viking is $800 or around that.

Personally i dont like those DM4s. They seem nice but i think they are real buggy. My back man has one and its a little iffy. Ive worked on a couple before and they are real pain in the asses to dissasemble the pressure regulator. (BTW thats what i do for a job/volunteership Im a gunsmith at a field) The only good thing about them is they are QUIET.


FYI - as a comparison so you get an idea what 44 bps is like... in the video that was 7-8 balls per second.

I was readin this paintball magazine the other day, and they showed this Pro(not a brand) Sniper Gun, and it has Power to send a ball at 1200 F.P.S., so crazy.

At the paintball place about a year ago, this kid braught a few frozen paintballs(very illegal to the people that dont paintball, possibly cause penetration), and it hit my friend, and my friend is a badass, damn dude, took my friends leg so hard, it was bleedin and shit, he ran up to the kid and just beat the crap out of him, then like 6 other people that we didnt even know came up and unloaded like 5 shots each to his main body at 350 PSI, I guess thats what you in my area if someone has frozen balls, you get a whole crew on your side that just fuckin owns his ass.

I never had one, my friends a have a couple, but I dont gots any. the kid that had the frozen paintballs not only had frozen paintballs, but had some nice Angel that had a good amount of force, god damn kids..

No... who ever told you this is wrong or your just making up a story. First off theres no such thing as a "SNIPER" gun or a PRO gun. And second a paintball cant go 1200 fps. Most guns dont shoot at 1200 and certainly almost no pistols do. Normal air cannot expand that fast.

Secondly. All those stories about frozen paintballs are myths. Paintballs freeze at like 10-15 degrees, and it takes forever. And freezers usually dont go that cold.

no dude, you must have mis understood the part in paranthesis that said (not a brand), it was just a gun that a professional was using, it wasnt a story, unless the mag I was readin just had some bogus pic in it, cuz it was a pic in some paintball mag like a year ago, probably is fake, but frozen paintball cases do come up around my area.

They suck Those money grabbing bastards. They sued like 8 other companies and have stopped them from making guns or have a huge royalty off each gun. Besides their products are shoddy except for the new shocker.

yes, they sued other companies for using thier ideas.

You CAN'T deny they were the first with an electronic marker. That was thiers.

But that's all im saying on this discussion, i have fought this arguement before, and i'm not gonna do it again here.

Bottomline, as long as Smart Parts keeps making thier products as good as they have for years, they WILL continue to exist and thrive. Dont like it? Tough. The impulse is a great marker, and the new shocker just dominates.
