what do you think that felt like? I don't have any idea how hard that would punch...

All I can think is most of those guys leave the line at 6K rpm or better. So at least 25 times per second that thing is going full circle. So this piston has a stroke of roughly 2" hence travelling 100" every second. ~8' x 60 = 480ft/min = 28800 mph, slowed only by the aluminum case of the motor, lol...

Keep in mind a mile is 5280 feet...

480ft/min x 60 = 28800 ft/hr -> 28800/5280 = 5.45 mph

(6000 rev/min) x (4 in/rev) x ( 1 ft/12 in) x (60 min/hr) x (1 mi/5280 ft) = 22.73 mph
