Yeah saw this last night (stupid vids kept me up all night).
I don't think it was trying. What happened to the guy's engine?
All I heard was a pop.
Wasn't it a wrx? I don't remember.

actually, i think it was an eclipse and no, the M3 wAsnt even racing, so the guys in the eclipse just blew there engine for abosolutly no reason. The M3 driver was like wtf.

Eclipse GSX Turbo... it would have spanked the m3 even if it was racing :P Still funny though...

YES. The m3 was racing - you can hear him revving even through the GSX's crappy interior and you can hear them leave the line.

M3s lose off the line quite often anyhow, but yeah... as somebody said - the GSX turbo is faster anyway.

By the way, that is the ugliest sound I have ever heard. If I ever hear that coming from my car, I will push my own car over my body, starting between my legs, and finally ending with a healthy squish that will have been my head.
