Well for one thing, that same video was posted here not a month ago, with the little DSC notary on the car and driver at the bottom of the screen. It's a 320i, driven by Rolf van Os. It sounds weird because there is virtually nothing between the driver and the gearbox, and the transmission is winding extremely loudly. That high pitch is from the gears, not the motor.

lol i remember when this was posted, i was like wtf is the engine revving to like 200k rpms, i had never heard what it was like in a car with no sound dampening material :lol:
i thought i saw a yellow lotus emblem but now i think it was a button or somethin on the steering wheel, but it is yellow and i though green as well. might not be im not argueing with just curoius how u can tell that it not a lotus thats all
