| Another Anti-Bush movie? If someone's daily struggle is to sit down and write songs about how bad they think Bush is and how corrupt they think his policies are, then that is sad. There isn't anything anyone can do, he is in office for another few years, so all the Bush protesting is a little too late to actually mean anything so just support your current leadership until the next election. The movie said something about how they never thought they would see the day when "African people would say they Republican"...whatever, I know lots of black people (not African-Americans, they are Americans who are black...still Americans) who are Republican and are quite vocal about it. The country needs both Democrats and Republicans, though. If we only had one party, it would eventually break off into two parties again because that many people can't agree with each other. You need the balance, so the whole political debate is just wasted energy. If Democrats completely ruled the country without any opposition, it would be kind of messed up, as would it be if Republicans were in total control. Eh, these political movies just plain suck, not to mention being poorly made... |
