Haha thanks guys.. As for the cam, it's a mystery

Bought this motor from a guy with a wrecked c4 last summer, and dropped it in with my friend marlyn. Everyone that hears it, says cam for sure - but that's a mixed blessing. The L98 motor is a monster down low, but runs out of steam towards the top, mainly due to the intake manifold, runners and plenum(the runners are a mind boggling 17 inches long for every cylinder). When you cam these things to go higher, you HAVE to either go with a later-year (LT1/LT4) manifold, or some aftermarket set up from holley, TPIS, accell, etc. So the stock crap that I used off my old motor (he kept whataver he had, to sell on e-bay or for his next one, who knows) doesn't make the best combo with this cam. Oh well, I guess that's my next investment...
