I think the driver had plenty to do with this outcome. And it is very interesting that both drivers, after the Nissan won all three events, chose the Bimmer instead. They liked the faster 0-60 and the steel chassis - which I note, the "guts" of are the same as the Z3. Boy would I love to turn lose MY roadster on that track - and kick the living snot outta that snooty Brit in the 350Z (not remotely FAIR, I know, with my ridiculously modded, though unmmarked er" car, but FUN nonetheless!

Driver had everything to do with it. I've driving the coupe versions of both of these cars in high-performance environments. The Z4M is more powerful than the 3.0, but nonetheless cornering in the bimmer was far superior to the Z.
Environments: BMW driving school, and California hwy 2.
