Up here it gets pretty hot durring the summer and I see people all the time riding their street bikes in shorts and tank tops. I can even remember seeing some people wearing sandles.
Yeah motorcycle wrecks suck! I just got in one two months ago. Broke my collar bone, shoulder blade, right ribs, some bones in my neck and punctured my lung and lacerated my liver. I was in the hospital for a week. I actually wasn't in to bad of shape though because I had a nice helmet and an awesome leather jacket ( that they cut up! ) But I guess that's the price you pay for riding a bike.
