i think bmw already made those. its in a bmw mag i got a while ago. ill try to find it.
ford already built cars w/auto pilot that work, but it would be for carpool type lanes for commuters. it will probably never hit open market though. car parkers might. its cool stuff, but i still dont trust my car to drive itself.
the big deal about this video is that the guy put a damn computer in the car running linux and wired it up himself.... which is kinda crazy, I'd rather just make the car remote controlled
I don't think it ran into the other car. It might have I suppose but it had tons of room to slow down and striaghten out the wheels. I wanna see that thing park in a spot with a 1foot gap infront and behind the car.....
