I would like to share my story with the rest of the forum about one of the not so great aftermarket companies. Think twice before you buy anything from them!

I ordered a set of depo headlights with predator chromium DDEs installed by them. As well as clear corners, LED conversion for the corners and clear sidemarkers. I was excited and couldn't wait to get them. I was told that everything except the headlights would ship right away seperately, because the depos had to clear customs. Customer support told me that they cleared twice which they hadn't and after 6 weeks, a dozen emails, and several phone calls. They shipped my order. I was told that they would ship the clears right away, which they didn't. When the shipment finally arrives not only is the box badly beaten up but half the fucking order is missing! Mind you the headlights look good, I opened up the back to see if there were bulbs and the slots are empty even though their webpage says they include "Poduction D2S Equivalent Headlight Bulbs". I called them about it and was informed that they don't come with bulbs. The guy I ordered them from even said he would throw in some extra bulbs for me free of charge because I placed a decent size order. Great thing is it was the same guy every time I have called!

So there is at least another hundred bucks worth of bulbs. To boot when I opened up the back of the lights one of the wires for the DDE fell out of its litle harness and just hung there. It wasn't like the harness came undone, they didn't install the wire into the harness correctly! What kind of bullshit is that!

When I called about the rest of my order I was informed that they were closing the shop up and to email them and the night guys would take care of me. They brushed me off and informed me that they had kept me upto date with phone calls and emails and they would take care of it tomorrow. BULLSHIT! I had to hound the hell out of them to get a god damn response. Not only did they not keep me upto date the next day I had to call them back! When I finally got someone who would talk to me, I was informed that the clear corners and markers were still on a boat and had to clear customs. Even though four weeks earlier I was told that the clears and LED were sitting in their shop waiting to go out with the headlights. I finally canceled the order for everything else and will fix the headlights myself. As for the bulbs, I have to order bulbs from somewhere else along with the rest of the stuff I wanted.

I will never order ANYTHING from them again! Their customer service is SHIT and they gave me the run around! It should not take damn near two months to get a order to a customer! And they should not be making up stories just to get you off the phone! Not only that, I was told they had shipped my order out on the 12th and after three emails and hounding them, they finally got the package to fedex to be shipped out on the 18th!

Be warned don't shop there!!! They will fuck with your order!

I am seriously fucking pissed!!!!!

I'm pretty surprised. I don't think I have ever heard a bad thing about them.

I can feel your pain though. I've got the exact same situation going on with Eurocreations.net ghead

I've already lost $500 in my mess with them! I get so pissed when I think about the other things I could have gotten with that money!

We should start a "Bad Vendor Folder" in this forum.

I have a feeling that if we did start a bad vendor folder they would all be in them! I have a place that actually stands behind their product but they are like 30 - 40 miles away. I am going to get everything from them from now on! They do what they say when they say they are going to do it and they do it right the first time. And if not they will fix it no matter what! I have dropped over 3 grand in their shop in the last two years and now I am saying fuck internet vendors! As a matter of fact I just ordered new alarm parts from them and they are going to ship them to me for free. THATs customer service!

They sent my headlights 2 weeks late and blamed fedex on it. I was very happy with my zkw's though.

just bought a spoiler from a guy on ebay with like 8000 feedback.. spoiler took over a month and a half to get here after i payed.. emails never got answered, when they did answer the phone i always go "oh, yea, its still in processing, we just finished prepping, nwo we need to paint" blah blah blah. went on for weeks.. finally got it yesterday..

most other people had good things to say about the seller... it happens.

some orders get fucked up, some dont.. trust me, i work in this shit and you deal with such a long list of things to do day to day things get forgotten. sounds shitty, and it is, but ...

I also heard good things from Umnitza.com, and was planning to get my aftermarket parts from them as a potential vender...

I can see that a lot of you guys are pretty happy with results from business with them, but I still think that what happened to Rookie was pretty much unacceptable. Theres a difference between trying and not succeeding, and not trying at all. It seems like they didn't even care about their customer.

I once heard in a business meeting, for every 1 dissapointed customer, they tell at least 7 others. If I ran my own business I would be sure to keep that in mind.

Sorry to hear what happened Rookie =\

ive gotten good customer service from them, but what sucks is that i shipped back 1 of my projector36s because a halo blew out. i sent it to them 2 weeks ago, and i emailed them thursday and they said "it should be shipped out friday". hopefully they hold to their word and actually ship them out, reading this post has given me doubts...

i want my headlight back

I am trying to find what kind of bulbs have to go in my depos, since they didn't include them even though the website says they come with bulbs. Oh well, I am going to throw in a nice set of PIAAs and use the money that was for my clear corners and other stuff to pay for them, thanks to umnitza! Anyways I was told that they take H1s but I want to make sure before I have my guy order a 160 bucks worth of light bulbs.

When a company gives you the run around, the easiest way to fix the problem is to dispute it with your credit card company. This is your last ditch effort to straighten things out. Call the vendor before you do it and give them a time frame to fix the order, no response and you call your CC issuer and they fix it right up for you. Use this as a last resort though. It will cost the vendor money if you do file a dispute, which usually makes them a little more understanding.
