Hey, I was going to get a 3 series BMW and was thinking about putting a Bluetooth kit into th ecar. How good are the Bluetooth kits that BMW puts in? Any problems with compatibility with certain phone models? Can someone tell me exactly what you would have to do to make a phone call. Thanks

Im not sure why'd you get a phone to use b/t to call? I have a sphi700 cdma phone(vancy phone/palm pilot.) I have a bt sd card and bt serial adapter to run on obd2 and thats about what bt does? Of course I run diagnostic/standalone and etc on my cdma as well.. You shouldnt need bt to call unless I misread something...BT is just a file transfer system like usb.

hakwuzhere is on a distinguished road
Bluetooth has a wide variety of uses... one of the most popular is handsfree kits for cellphones...

Sorry, dont know anything about the BMW OEM BT kits... just had to respond to the second poster.
