A few months ago I bought a Cosmos CAI. It was a good price and seemed to be a good product. First off, the gas milage is so much better. I often drive from Boston to NY (210miles). Before the filter, it took a 1/2 tank of gas. So if the gauges are perfect, that would be 8.2gallons to make the trip. (16.4 gall tank.) After I installed the CAI, I now make the trip only using about 3/8 of a tank. That is only 6.15 gallons. With just the intake, I am now saving 2.05 gallons per trip, with gas prices the way they are, thats like over $6.00!! I also lile the sound of it and how its located far from the hot engine.
The only issue i have is that I am afraid to drive in fog and in rain... the filter is in where the brake duct used to be... should I be worried about water or moisture getting in the system?
