First things first: thanks for the heads up on that seller
I will stop being a jerk and point you in the right direction with the screenshot situation:

I find it very uncool that you keep taking pictures of your screen to post online. I try to be very efficient: in terms of time, money, energy, and other resources used. By taking a picture using your digital camera, you are adding one more cycle to the shutter, auto-focus/USM mechanism, power and capture buttons, etc. Pictures of screens don't alwys come out at the first try, so maybe you have had to repeat all these actions several times.
Furthermore, on top of the energy your computer is already spending (and I don't care if you generate your own wind or solar power), you also consumer power by captturing the image -- activating the CCDs, writing the memory card (which, by the way, can only be written a finite amount of times), displaying it on the viewfinder. Moreover, there is more energy and wear and tear involved in downloading the images to your computer, since you have to use the power from the USB bus. In this instance, the internal buck/boost converter probably has to start running at a higher duty cycle (less efficient) to make up for the additional current that is drawn by your camera. DOn't forget the energy drawn from the batteries (which aren't made from the best materials or through the best processes for th environment), and the extra energy you burn that could have been used by someone in need that didn't get to eat whatever fancy NY food you ate tonight.
And after doing all that, your picture still doesn't look as good as a natively captured screen shot.
Actions like these are contributing to our planet going down the gutter. I wish more people cared about their actions and how they impact the rest of the world. Take an online class on preservation/environmentalism or something. It will open your eyes to many things.
