what do you mean by flake paint?
i do not remember the paint name but it is a metallic purple.

Techno Violet is like screaming purple, I think that's more like a midnightish shadowy purple. Flake paint has basically tiny bits of reflective metal in it, so that it appears sort of glittery under light. BMW may have done that with 'metallic' colors, I don't know.
