Ya, this is just to define clean for you guys. It is my summer detailing. It took me 3 days working about 10 hours in total. Each wheel was individually taken off of the car and cleaned. Even the inside of the wheel was waxed to prevent dust from sticking to it. Then there is 3 coats of Klasse all-in-one and 2 coats of Klasse High Gloss sealant.

Enjoy.

I just detailed our m3 too, pics coming soon.

First off, the trim is off an 03' M5 and a 2001 540i sport, so not only is the trim very new, but it came with no wax on it.
second, the wax I use, Klasse, doesn't harm plastics (leave white), in fact it tells you that you can even wax the plastic
third, I use stuff called trim shine made by Stoner. Got it at Kragons and I recommend it to everyone. Great stuff! Looks like you are freshly spray painting the trim (or whatever) you are spraying it on.

good luck

Thanks I'll have to try that next detail(probably next month) Trying to gather a list of cool stuff to buy that would do all those little detail cleanings that make all the difference. I messed up my sidetrim with some carnuba wax, it got whitish, I can kinda push hard and get some of it off but all of it wont.

Once its on there it is very hard to get it off. If your trim is rough, not smooth and glossy, you can try using a stiff brush, not sure if it works tho. But try that Trim shine, its good stuff.

One more idea, like I said before, Klasse doesn't mess up plastic, in fact it can be used to wax plastic. Maybe if you pick up some Klasse you can wax it out of the plastic. Just a thought

it seems like you spend more time cleaning your car than actually driving it

No its actually the completely oposite when you calculate it.

one good summer detail (just dusting and MAYBE MAYBE another wash) + clean wheels (only dusting) = no more multiple washes through the summer + MORE DRIVING!!!!
