oh...and here's the plans for the car

not many details as of right now.

it came with the rear window, and all side windows for me to put in. just gotta score a windshield for it but i'm sure my window guy will help me out on that.

motor sounds AMAZING for a 224k motor. seems to be leaking PS fluid somewhere on the exhaust but thats something i can do rather painlessly.

tranny feels smooth. has that rattle sound at idle in neutral. press in the clutch and it goes away. we all know what that means . i'll leave it until i'm ready to do the lightweight flywheel mod.

plans as of now are to move my suspension from my 525i to the 535i (eibach/billie sport combo). put the stock suspension back on the 525i, sell it. finish up the 535i to make it daily drivable (a/c, HVAC, get new high beams, etc) and make it a respectable daily driver.

as far as upgrades go, well, suspension is already spelled out above. my style 5's will go on it. its already got euro tails and corners. i have euro trim sitting in my basement still in the packaging for it. i'm gonna pull the side mouldings and strip the red paint off so that i can get them back to black. and finally end up with a miller MAF conversion + WAR chip.

sorry to burst any bubbles....but the red has GOT to go. i hate red cars with the fire of a thousand suns. it'll eventually (year or two down the road) get painted black, or maybe calypso.

EDIT: oh, and tint. it will get 12% wrapped around. maybe a light tint on the windshield, but probably not. and obviously i'll be doing things like removing the extra foglights, putting a proper license plate delete and grill, etc etc. all in good time.

i agree. we'll see, paint is expensive and will be a long ways off.

my primary goal is getting it to perform how i want it to.
