My car is a non-sport, so the oem trim it came with had chrome around the edge of it (see pic) also chrome around the windows (next mod for me is sport window trim). I really hated how the chrome clashed with my silver so I found M5 sides for very cheap on ebay (absolutely FLAWLESS condition, wouldn't put anything else on my car ) after getting those the same guy was selling 540i sport trim also. However, there is a little bit of a difference in the texture of the trims between M5 and normal 5 series sports. The M5 trim is completly smooth and the 540is trim is a little bit textured, but no matter how close you look you can't tell on my car, the M5 trim actually adds a little spice to the side of my car (esepcially without the M5 badge on it!) In all: M5's and Sport 5er's have NO CHROME, non-sport 5ers have chrome (what im trying to get rid of because of clashing)
Wow got a little carried away with that explanation eh?

Welcome to the forums!

the pic of my car is VERY OLD when considering the mods I have done since! And if you notice I don't have a front plate holder any more. The 540is front bumper had front plate delete trim. My dad wasn't diggin the no front plate cuz of cops down here but he agreed to a euro plate with my licence # So I custom fit the europlate to wrap around the front of my bumper hugging the licence plate to the bumper. FLUSH! NO SPACE IN BETWEEN! So sweet...

I will definately do that for you. Oh and by the way the wakeboarding picture was taken by my friends 6.0mp Kodak.

Oh and just to let you know, MP is not everthing when it comes to camera's, a good digtal SLR will out preform a normal 7mp camera.

oh yeah definately, i already know that
i'm just trying to decide between the canon powershot 5.0 or higher....i know that with more you can do more, but i just wanna look at quality for now and if the 5.0mp powershot will do. I can't afford too mcuh right now, especially the digital rebel SLR

Tochenzo, I tested between the cameras, and the Powershot is much better than the sony with 2x as many features and capabilities. So either way I would stick to Canon. And when I have time I will post the comparison between the cameras.

the Canon camera is MUCH more advanced. I believe it even allows you to somewhat control shutterspeed and aperature. I'll post those pics tonite. The Sony was easier to take pictures with... My comparison includes a Sony 5.1 mp, Digital Rebel, and Powershot. Just used the rebel to show how big of a difference an SLR makes.

Here are pics of the two camera's, i have another better sony digital camera but my mom was using it.

The canon is outta batteries and I can't find the charger, so I couldn't do a real good comparison. Sorry but you get the idea. And all the pics in this post are with the rebel.
