Since no one has ever done this before, and i feel i need closure for my old baby, this thread is dedicated to all cars that went above and beyond the call of duty. I know how much cars mean to some of us, especially when they are our first. These pictures are of my beloved 1989 e30 325i 5 speed. If you look closely on the before pic with the tread marks on the gorund, let me explain. I didnt know how to drive a stick well, and those treads are from when i dropped the clutch and got scared and hit the gas instead of the brake. There is a curb before that grass, and i went over it, and off the curb you can see. Thank god there wasnt a car parked there. Whew. But, my car answered the final call when I put too much gas in a turn, had the back end spin out, overcompensated, and spun around 180 degrees and hit a curb going sideways and hit a pole dead on, which caused more damage than the pics let on. The suspension was GONE, and the oil pan ruptured. I still can see the oil stain my wreck left behind. Well, i have some closure now, and I hope you all will let your babies go and let them drive the great autobahn in the sky.
footnote: If you look closely on the before picture, you can make out the BADASS aerodynamic tanning bed mounted on the trunk. Keep in mind, i was 16. My e34 is strickly euro look, no rice. I promise. Let my e30 rest in peace.
good call on the idea. This was my first car... or what was left... or whatever.
This is what happens when it's a little wet, you slide and you hit a cadalaic eldarado head on then get T-boned by an elantra hatchback ... or some other pos korean car... totaled my car obviously, and both of the others. Luckily I was the only one hurt. Broke my leg on the brake pedal. So heres to you car .
Holy cow, that looks nasty. Good thing a broken leg was the only bad thing. I smacked myhead REAL hard on the side window, plus my thumb got jammed. MY THUMB.... sigh
Actually I've never wrecked a car <can't find a knock-on-wood emoticon>

i've never crashed a car yet either, knock on wood
i did however hit many things with my old tahoe, it had a huge metal brushguard on the front so no matter what you hit nothing would happen to the car, but most of that was on purpose so its a little bit different

My 95 Civic I drove since I was 17, 215,000 miles and still ran like a champ. Until one of those huge Dodge full-size vans ignored a stop sign and pulled out in front of me. TBONE.
