I don't have a crx dumbshit, if you would read the past replies I simply stated that my car is slow as are most stock 325's and for 15 grand I could buy a turbo crx with nos that would kill a stock M3....I swear you guys are illiterate, non-readin assholes. And no one ever said anything about a track race I just said that bmw's are typically pretty damn slow unless you spend an arm and a leg to make it faster. jeez
since youre obviously concerned soley with straight line acceleration/price ratio, a bmw is not for you. they werent even designed for that. neither were civics or accords for that matter. the only reason people make them into drag cars is because they are dirt cheap. same with mustangs and camaros, etc. and if you think a turbo crx for 15k is impressive, why dont you see what kind of fox body mustang or camaro drag monster you could get for 15k? ones that would fly by a turbo crx like it was standing still.
like this one. well over 500rwhp in a 2700lb chassis and you know its gonna go for less than 15k.
A CRX won't get much above 150 MPH, but it would smoke almost any 3 series beamer
almost any 3 series? try the 318 only. dont kid yourself into thinking hondas are somehow inherently better for drag racing than bmws because of their design. the only advantage they have is being much less expensive. most people cant afford to heavily mod a bmw.

325's can run high 14's stock and more like mid 6's for 0-60
Good luck. My 92 325 with chip/intake/exhaust consistently ran 15.4sec. I haven't really seen a near stock 325 do better.

No bends and it suprisingly doesn't ride rough at all just a little more interior noise, and also just to clear everything up....I LOVE BMW's I will never own another car I was simply stating that for the money you can rice out a crx and make it way faster than a 325i...THAT IS ALL. Honda's suck but with 5 g's I could make an old ass crx pretty fast, this whole thread got blown way out of proportion and i just wanted all you guys to know that i am one of the biggest beamer fans ever so just squash it. Oh and i just bought a new 7mp digital camera and Im gonna shine up the 20's and get some better pix for you all that don't hate and put, "Put some pimpstars on that thing". Dork
