Well, I picked her up a couple weeks ago. Erik was super nice, deal went off without a hitch. He put so much effort into her, I think he was pretty sad to see her go. I'm so glad that I got to pick her up, as I was planning to to go in the same direction as his car. Now, the "one and only" will remain so. Drove her back home (no problems) and have put about 2k miles on her since. Still getting to know her, and the roads in my area (!!) more intimately. Thought I would share with you guys, and assure you that there will be nothing but good things happening to her.
(Euro bumps/valence, M30, blacked out trim, tint, etc.)
The obligatory "turned wheel" shots
Next to the big brother. My, is he tall!
Time to go swimming, high board, or low board?
What a difference a drop makes...
What do I call her? GREEN HELL

id buy the turtl from ya, but it looks too nice....i wanna a beater as a project.
We should talk. TURTL3 needs some work.
I thought about naming her PRTYPNNY, or MY $.02 but that's too girly.
Plus, I have a couple ties to the Nurburgring.
kman, yes, it's paint, with copper flake in it. No clear coat, so it oxidizes naturally, and there's stuff you can get to make it do the green thing.

Looks nice even if it's not my cup of tea. I liked the other pictures better that made it look orange.
Oh, and your exhaust looks silly

i'd call her penny, cause that what she looks like. great shots, love the comparo.

keep looking then, the turtle isnt a "beater"... an early 318i or non letter 325 is a beater, find one of those if you want a "beater", if you are looking for a good project E30 then the turtle is for you...but its no beater...
CCA badge is going on the new car, it should really piss the country club types off at the local BMW CCA.
which exhaust? the TURTL3 or GREEN HELL?
On teh penny . . . weaksauce
