Those bently's at the end are waaaack.
Nice pics man.
leave it alone, it's a beefed up rice pattie (is430 )
Originally posted by KingScare@Apr 14 2004, 01:42 PM Yeah that car with the weird paintjob is pretty killer.
It was on that show "Rides"...they slamed a GS430 (i think) engine in an Is300...
They upgraded everything on that biotch. Paint job is a bit weird, but that car is pretty fast.
Yeah, hence the new model...IS430. For everyone's perspective here, that's like cramming the 4.4L V-8 from the 540i into a 3-series! I think what Lexus has done here is effectively create something that will compete with the M3.
NASTY paint though...the funny thing is, there's a Jetta on campus with the same paint job

"Catch up"? Every small sport/luxury shootout I've seen in every magazine so far has ranked the CTS at or near the bottom. The only thing it has ever beaten was the little Jag, the X-type I think. Plus I think the CTS is one of the ugliest cars on the road...almost in the same category as the Ass-tec. To each his own, I suppose.
I haven't heard about the CTS-v (if they've mentioned it in Motor Trend I must have missed it), but from what you said I assume they're sticking the LS1 V-8 in it? Is that a pic of it in your sig? Somehow it looks a bit better than the sedan, but the huge rear pillar and quarterpanel look like they came out of the old Eldorado parts bin. If I were to spend that kind of money (I'm guessing around $50k), I'd rather get an S4 V-8 or an M3.

why dont u catch up? that's an eldorado concept i photoshoped from an STS 05 concept model. the cts is a v6 midsized touring sedan and wasn't made for speed, it actually has some of the best constuction and engeneering today in it's class. the cts-v is a sports version of the cts, it has an LS6 (like in the z06, 405hp) and a 6 speed manual and kicks m3 and m5 ass so bad it's not even funny (it's faster then the current vette, not the z06 or the 05 concept), and costs $50,000.
cant compare anyting to a cadillac, elegance and style. the cobra and cts-v are different and the cobra shouldnt be alot faster, if it's going to be faster at all. plus the ls6 has alot of aftermarket support.
Heh i was actually there. I wish i was in some of those pics v.v apparently the cameras missed me. But anyway the bentleys looked pretty much the same, tho what paint job should have been questioned was on a chevy malibu.. it was yellow but when you look in the sun it sparkled green... it was pretty badass
