Hey everyone...I've had the car for two months, but this is the first time I've had a chance to take a few pics and show her off for you guys. Not as fancy as many of your awesome bimmers on here, but I really love it. My digicam is 4 years old and I suck at photography, but this is my best effort. I also had a hell of a time finding a place to shoot--there's nowhere in this town where there AREN'T people.
Before I took the pics I washed her, then did a layer of Zaino Z5 followed by Z2. Also cleaned the interior and the wheels--man are those wheels a pain in the ass to clean. I gotta get some new ones Hopefully one day -- I want to do window tint and clears this summer, and a few other things, but I'm a poor college student so I gotta take it slow on the mods
Anyway, here she is....first appearance online. Let me know what you think!

How'd you do that? j/k
Nice looking ride. btw, how did you clean your rims? [/b]
LOL, yeah, I know...I saved up. Still have a lot of expenses, you know, that's what I mean
I cleaned the rims with water, a towel, and my little finger. It sucks.

Yeah I always wanted black, but now I'm not sure if I'll ever buy a black car again--too damn hard to keep clean! I don't have that kind of time, lol. I think I'll stick to silver from here on out if I can.
<!--QuoteBegin-woobiee looks good... put like 3 more layers of Z2 [/quote]
Yep, I'm going to do a couple more coats tomorrow if I have time.
Thanks for the comments guys!

B) Very nice I love e39's in black it's worth it to keep clean. I know a guy who had a white one with the same exact wheels and everything and yours looks way better.
I have used Zaino once before on this car, the last time I gave it a decent wash (I just couldn't take pictures that day). That time I claybarred the car too. Overall, I am very impressed with Zaino. A little pricey, but it truly delivers excellent results. If one has the appropriate time to invest in putting a lot of layers on the car, I really think it will be stunning. I just usually don't have that kind of time. The Z6 quick detailing spray is GREAT. No owner of a black car should be without it
I made a new sig based off of one of those pics...what do you think?

I miss my 5er like crazy. What i have gained in performance, i easly sacrifice in build quality. Im jeolous to say the least.
Keep me posted on maintenance as i have a brother-in-law whom i must find a car for. He wants something he can work on, add mods, and step on the pedal and be rewarded. I think a '99 540 would be ideal...
