You're right... that's rather messed up. I agree... hope someone doesn't think it's an actual M3. Scary.

If he's lucky, he'll get that asking price. It's hard to recoup the hard work and money that goes into a car like that. The sacrifice we make when we build our cars.
it's not auto...

The thing is the original poster was under the impression that the car was an actual Euro E30 M30 Cab, which is a pretty rare car.

Rennsurfer was referring to the car as it came from the factory -- an auto E30 325i cab, which is indeed not rare.

And indeed, Shahab, the car is not an auto -- anymore. It has a ZF manual swap.

Going back to my first post on this thread: even it the car were an E30 M3 cab, I wouldn't be against the owner putting a different M engine in it. The S14 -- from what I hear -- doesn't last as long as other BMW engines. The rebuild is pretty expensive, also. If it were my car, I woudl probably opt for a swap. I wouldn't get rid of the car just because it would be some sortt of an insult to a rare car. Eff that. It is my car, my money, and it is not like I am putting an MB engine in it
