E30 Added to the family

It's a 1991 318i with 209K. Power train is unbelievably strong. Suspension is the worst i have ever seen. Needs brakes and a bath.

Picked it up for $900

Good lookin' car. It should clean up rather nicely. Sheesh, from looking at the engine... you'd think that the p.o. off-roaded the poor thing. YIKES. Be cool to see some AFTER pics.

Congrats

Cool deal, should look nice cleaned up . just picked up an E30 myself for same $900, my first Bimmer, an 85 325e, 5 speed.

It also needs suspension, so just going to upgrade the suspension. also planning a short throw shift kit, m3 body kit, performance brakes, window tinting, and changing the interior to black. All in time though, will cost a few bucks, but I've always wanted one of these, so i want to personalize

Yeah, the guy lived in the woods. And the after pics will be nice. I do some progression pics as i complete some work.

Going to order rotors, pads and fluid from TMS tonight. It already has SS lines.
Then it's off to storage for my BBS RZ's

NICE! That's gonna look great with BBS wheels. Are they all silver? That would look awesome on that car. They're fun lil' cars... had a blast cleaning mine up. When I brought it home, I spent several days removing stickers, aftermarket crap, and a lotta detailing to get it where it is now. Very rewarding. Funny, I only see nice E21 cars online. NEVER around here. Rarely, a nice E30 now and then.

I just hope they aren't flat spotted. they have been on my GTI since december and the car hasn't moved.

December? Yeah... they'll be fine. What little flatspotting, if any, will quickly diminish rather quickly once they're driven.
