so my buddies were out on a run last night. Didnt go cause i didnt have my car.

On guy in the Z3 and two in a 350z.

guy in the Z3 got way over his head. All season tires he was pulling away from the 350 in the turns. He ended up hitting some manure in the road, then some pot holes and he was airborn. Car flew over a guard rail 15 feet in the air it took out a tree 50 feet away, a fence, and landed a foot off the ground wedged between the tree and a rock above a creek. Airbag went off.

Friend was ok. All the instruments flew out of their place. his shifter borke in half(the assembly from the tranny). here are some pics. Hes ok. was going 50mph we he lost it. 350 was 300 feet behind taking it a little more easy. They saw the wreck. called out his name a few times. Then went to get him out of the car.

he broke the tree in half!

Oh my God! I'm glad he's okay. Will insurance replace the car?

yea insurance covers it in full. I think he makes a little cash.

wow that sucks... have any daylight pics?? ive actually gotten into an incedent with a tree once.. was dirtbiking and the front wheel locked up on me in a slick spot right before the turn and i went flying about 15 feet into the woods and snapped about a 2 or 3 in tree in half with my back... still have scars on my back from that day...

I haven't read all of the replies, but this is where I chime in and recommend that your friend makes sure to get thoroughly checked out by specialists. Neck and back damage is serious stuff, and sometimes we can't tell right away how badly we really got hurt.

ever the health minded moderator, a good couple weeks in a neck brace wil reinforce his stupidity. poor car, even if it is a z3.
