Here is my recent (ahem) addition that I've been working on for the past six months. I bought her in March, and just recently got her going good enough to pass inspection for daily driver status. She's still got a couple issues that need adressing, but I love the drive already. I almost like driving her better than the E30 (gasp!!11!) I spent WAAAAY more getting her to this point than I paid for the car itself.. oh well. I kinda hoped that it would be worth it. She's not even finished, and I KNOW that it's all worth it.
Please welcome my '87 535is (BADWATER) to the fambly.
Check out all of that diving board goodness!!
As soon as I've done a little more work and she's mostly "complete" I'll take a real photoshoot.

paint? no, black vinyl over the chrome bumpers works WAY better and wont chip
just speaking from experience
sand it down real good, then paint ... it wont chip unless you hit shit all the time ... but then you'd have bigger issues than chipping paint off your bumper.
