This has been my daily driver/track toy for the last three going on four years. While it is fun the suspension left a lot to be desired, even after some rear end work and a matched set of springs/shocks/swaybars. Oh well, that is the fun of driving an extremely nose-heavy car with less than desirable camber curves...

I like that gen Mustangs, but like you said ... there's a lot of things that aren't exactly first class.

Yes the snakes are very fast and sound verry nice, good for an American sports car in that price range. Ford actually improved the suspension in 97 or 98. Can't remember exactly the year. Was yours a 94-95 5.0 or 96-97 4.6?

BTW you seem to have a good eye for photography. Look forward to seeing some good pics of the bimmer as well! Better get the ///M so the acceleration is closer to what you are used to!

I'm currently looking at two different S52 engines... Going to talk to operator0 on CCland for a quote on a swap.

My (actually I have to be honest, it's 'ours') '86 325es is going to be the dedicated track toy. The Cobra in the pics is a '98 with the FRPP suspension package, MaximumMotorsports rear lower control arms and panhard bar. Don't get me wrong, I could hustle it around the track pretty quickly but I was exploring it's limits already so I feel I need to track something with higher limits.

I'm really looking forward to getting more eye-time behind my ex's new 20d. It's freaking sweet! Those pics were taken by an S50, non-SLR body. This new 20d is the shiz...

That third picture is AWESOME!! I hope to join you someday with the S50 swap, but I hope to have something a little less radical/more reliable than a track car. FAST... but comfortable.
