The New Skyline

I know it will be quite some time from know, but does anyone has any idea about the powerplant that will put in there? The only thing that I've heard about it was that it was going to be the 350z engine (of course a little more tweak than the current one, so >290hp) as the lowest base model, then the same engine w/ AWD, then the 'fully loaded' would the 350z engine with a turbo (twin???). These are just speculations and rumors that I've heard so by any means, correct me if I'm wrong. What have you guys heard?

so in reality skyline is already here...gt-r is a different story (yes, i know that is what you are asking about)

rumor has it: base is the 350z motor tweeked and turbo'd

i heard they caught some pics of the gt-r being tested (in a g35 shell) anybody have pics of that?

my buddy works for a tuner shop in southern cali, and races/drifts a fully tuned twin-turbo 350z...actually works very closely with nissan...

Hmmmm.... SO the Skyline is the G35 eh? Well, that was a letdown, I was hoping on a totally redesign skyline, not an ifiniti with a suped engine. I have nothing against the G35 though, it's a great looking/ handling car, but it just doesn't fit the skyline mold. So are they going to call it the G35 skyline when it's brought over here?

no, the "skyline" is here as the g35 period.

there is still a gt-r coming to the states... as i understand it, it's not a "skyline" anymore, but it still is...confused? yeah so am i. just expect another gt-r version in a few years.

That's the GT-R, which is the Skyline. Only it has the Nissan logo instead of Infiniti. So confused.......
