here's my other ride, a 79 Corvette, mostly stock. Well, really my third ride. The second is a 97 Geo Prizm (Corolla). Not a bad car, but not enough power. It will be for sale after the Vette is back on the road.
The Vette is off the road while I install a 2004r trans, headers, lumpy cam, new rad and new exhaust system. Intake and carb are next. Stock,the Vette does the 1/4 about as fast as my 540. Can't have that now can we?
When the Vette is modded and quicker, I expect you guys will talk me into a blower for the 540
